The Long Island Museum, a part of the National Museum, is the heritage conservation and preservation agency on Long Island. The Museum gives a glimpse at life on Long Island beginning with pre-Columbian times to the present day. The exhibition documents the diversity of Long Island from Seymour’s and Newton’s Cay in the north to Gordon’s in the South.
